Susan Sarandon has become delusional. For all I know, she’s always been delusional. In her perception of reality, she was the only voice in her field speaking out against the war in Iraq.
“And I don’t think that I thought that I’d really never work again. But when there is nobody else, when you look out on the field and everybody is quiet and they’re all looking away and nobody’s saying anything, it’s a really scary place to be.”
When I think back over the years, nothing Sarandon has said about the war in Iraq even comes to mind. In Hollywood, she’s been overshadowed by Clooney, Garofalo, Pean and many others. But she wants to feel like the lone voice. She certainly has an ego.
The question is, if she can’t even see that much bigger stars are speaking out louder than her, does her opinion about anything mean much?

If you’re ever bored, you can usually count on the internet to entertain you. If you know where to look.
A mainstay of internet entertainment has always been amateur videos. Thanks to easy access to technology and broadband speeds, we can watch thousands of people humiliate themselves on the internet. Technology is great.

Respect

Walk Away

Chop Suey
And the young one’s are also humiliating themselves (with some help I would assume).
Breathless
Of course some videos are very well produced and could easily be something you’d expect to see on television.

While I was looking over recent Senate Roll Call votes I found something that made me laugh.

That simple statement completely sums up my opinion of Barbara Boxer.
Going to the proposal link doesn’t provide any more detail either. Do you think the keeper of records got tired of her antics and didn’t bother entering the information, or did her office not submit the proper documentation?

If you’ve driven past the UW Field House this past year you’ve probably said, “what the hell is that?”. That, is of course a sculpture of stone footballs that reach to the sky in the shape of an obelisk. I remember when I took my brothers from Milwaukee to Mickie’s Dairy Bar for breakfast and they immediately questioned what it was. There’s no doubt that it makes an impact and people notice it, but I don’t think it’s making the impact that was wanted.
Some want the artwork removed. I can’t really blame them. It is pretty ugly.
