Anyone else left feeling confused about the charges against Scooter Libby? So they’re going to charge him with various technicalities, but not for exposing a covert agent? We paid for a two year investigation and had to deal with the one-track mind media machine throwing this is our face 24/7 for what? This is a joke. Now I really want to know if Plame was or was not a covert agent. If she wasn’t, this entire investigation has been a shame. I watched the press conference and that was a waste of time. Someone at the Department of Justice needs to start explaining things.

Michael Yon Interview
I received an email about Michael Yon through the contact function of my blog. I imagine I was found through Technorati or one of the other blog search engines since I’ve written about Yon several times. I thought I’d share the contents of the email.

UPDATE: Jet Blue Flight 292
I’ve heard back from Senator Herb Kohl’s office about my idea for a civilian aviation award. This is another reason I will continue to vote for Herb Kohl. While I doubt he himself actually wrote the email to me, he has his office and staff follow up constituent contacts. I’ve contacted each of my elected Federal representatives about this, but so far his office is the only that has responded.
Dear Sergeant Stehling:
Thank you for contacting my office. I always appreciate
hearing from the people back home and I apologize for the delay in
my response. In order to be more responsive to your concerns, I have
taken the liberty of forwarding a copy of your letter to the Federal
Aviation Administration. In the interest of time, I have asked that
they contact you directly and provide me with a copy of their
correspondence.Again, thank you for contacting me. I hope you will feel
free to contact me again with other matters of importance to you.Sincerely,
Herb Kohl
U.S. Senator
Now I have to wait and see what the FAA does.

Boston Bound
I’m out of town on business again. This time to Massachusetts for three weeks. I’ll be sure to be extra careful when I’m walking near the street around here. I don’t want to become another smear on Ted Kennedy’s bumper.
The hotel I’m staying at is actually pretty nice for a change. There’s free internet access in my room. Well, not exactly free, I am paying for the room. But I’ve paid more for a hotel and had only dial-up access that charges by the minute. At least here it’s high-speed WIFI.

Badgers keep the Axe
I’m going to break from the norm and actually talk about college football.
Can you believe the Badger game? I was about to turn off the TV in disgust, but suddenly everything changes. A flubbed punt and suddenly we have a touchdown. Followed by Minnesota fumbling a kick return and we’re not only ahead, we have the ball and the clock is almost out. Game over. Badgers win. That was probably the most exciting few minutes of football I’ve seen so far this year.
I imagine Minnesota is kicking themselves for making stupid mistakes that the Badgers were able to exploit.
