Denzel Washington

Filed under: National News — Steven A. Stehling @ 8:48

When someone does something really selfless and generous, they deserve recognition for it. Not just because they should be seen for the good person they are, but to also influence more people with the same means to do the same.
Denzel Washington

While Denzel Washington was visiting BAMC, they gave him a tour of one of the Fisher Houses. He asked how much one of them would cost to build. He took his check book out and wrote a check for the full amount right there on the spot.

The Dukes of Hazzard

The following people should never be allowed to work in the entertainment business ever again.

Bruce Berman
Jay Chandrasekhar
Lisa Mae Fincannon
Bill Gerber
Dana Goldberg
Eric McLeod
Greg Silverman
Mary Vernieu

These are the people responsible for the abortion being called The Dukes of Hazzard. I haven’t seen this movie, nor will I. The casting alone assured that. What kind of simple minded idiot would cast Burt Reynolds as Boss Hogg? Boss Hogg is supposed to be a pig; fat, dimwitted and ugly. Burt Reynolds has two of those easily nailed, but he’s not fat. Lisa Mae Fincannon and Mary Vernieu are credited for casting, but the producers and director have the ultimate responsibility. These are the same morons that cast Seann William Scott and Johnny Knoxville as Bo and Luke. They also employed America’s dumbest tits and ass (by far surpassing Pamela Anderson Lee), Jessica Simpson, as Daisy Duke.

The only properly cast characters are Willie Nelson as Uncle Jessie and David Koechner as Cooter.

Don’t go to see this movie. Send Hollywood a message. They need to start doing a better job or find a new job.

Two PETA employees, Andrew Benjamin Cook and Adria Joy Hinkle, in North Carolina have been charged with 31 counts of animal cruelty and 8 counts of illegal disposal of animals. Dead animals had been discovered in dumpsters at a shopping center on four previous occasions. Authorities established surveillance this week and quickly apprehended the two PETA employees. Each previous incident and the latest incident occurred on Wednesday nights.

Blogging, or lack there of

I haven’t had much time for blogging lately. Between working the night shift this week and working through the weekend, I haven’t felt much motivation to sit down and write. I still plan on taking to the streets, asking people questions and posting their comments and pictures on the blog. I had a minor setback with that however. Two of my brothers stayed in California a week longer than me for vacation and lost my digital camera. I’ll be getting a new camera sometime this weekend and I won’t be on night shift, so I’ll have much more opportunity to work on that project. I’ll have to read up though. I’d like to find a good question for my first try at this.

Britney Spears fails to distroy the world

The human race caught sight of the end of civilized society and took a step back.

Britney’s wholly idiotic attempt to mimic Jessica Simpson and brainwash viewers with stupidity is showing signs of failure. Her show about herself and her husband flailing around like Jerry Springer guests lost more viewers on its third episode. The shows rating dropped to its lowest point yet of 1.1, finishing last against broadcast network shows in that timeslot. It also finished last in the key demographic of adults age 18-39.

I have to admit I was very worried about the mental state of the human race. The obsession with reality TV shows that are gimmicky, irrelevant and brain numbing makes me wonder if the human race is evolving into some dim witted grazing animal similar to cows. It appears there is still hope.
