The Personality Defect Test

I can’t attest to the accuracy of this test, but its fun to see the results. The link is at the bottom if you want to try.

Spiteful Loner
You are 85% Rational, 28% Extroverted, 71% Brutal, and 42% Arrogant.
You are the Spiteful Loner, the personality type that is most likely to go on a shooting rampage. You are a rational person and tend to hold emotions in very low-esteem; not only that, but you are also rather introverted, meaning you probably bury any emotions you feel deep inside yourself. Combine these traits with your hatred of others and your brutality, and it seems that you would be quite likely to shoot innocent people in a rampage. Not only that, but you are also a very humble person–not a braggart at all–meaning you could possibly have low-self esteem. This is only yet one more incentive to go on a shooting rampage, because you wouldn’t care if you died as a result. Granted, you probably haven’t gone on a shooting rampage and probably never will, but all the motivations are there. In conclusion, your personality is defective because you are too introverted, brutal, insecure, and rather unemotional. No wonder no one hangs around you, you morbid, cold-hearted freak! To put it less negatively:

1. You are more RATIONAL than intuitive.

2. You are more INTROVERTED than extroverted.

3. You are more BRUTAL than gentle.

4. You are more HUMBLE than arrogant.

Compatibility:

Your exact opposite is the Televangelist.

Other personalities you would probably get along with are the Capitalist Pig, the Smartass, and the Sociopath.

If you scored near fifty percent for a certain trait (42%-58%), you could very well go either way. For example, someone with 42% Extroversion is slightly leaning towards being an introvert, but is close enough to being an extrovert to be classified that way as well. Below is a list of the other personality types so that you can determine which other possible categories you may fill if you scored near fifty percent for certain traits.

The other personality types:

The Emo Kid: Intuitive, Introverted, Gentle, Humble.

The Starving Artist: Intuitive, Introverted, Gentle, Arrogant.

The Bitch-Slap: Intuitive, Introverted, Brutal, Humble.

The Brute: Intuitive, Introverted, Brutal, Arrogant.

The Hippie: Intuitive, Extroverted, Gentle, Humble.

The Televangelist: Intuitive, Extroverted, Gentle, Arrogant.

The Schoolyard Bully: Intuitive, Extroverted, Brutal, Humble.

The Class Clown: Intuitive, Extroverted, Brutal, Arrogant.

The Robot: Rational, Introverted, Gentle, Humble.

The Haughty Intellectual: Rational, Introverted, Gentle, Arrogant.

The Spiteful Loner: Rational, Introverted, Brutal, Humble.

The Sociopath: Rational, Introverted, Brutal, Arrogant.

The Hand-Raiser: Rational, Extroverted, Gentle, Humble.

The Braggart: Rational, Extroverted, Gentle, Arrogant.

The Capitalist Pig: Rational, Extroverted, Brutal, Humble.

The Smartass: Rational, Extroverted, Brutal, Arrogant.

The Huffington Post

What do I think of The Huffington Post? Not much, certainly not enough to link to that site and increase its TTLB rating. It has been portrayed as a “celebrity blog”. There’s one problem. There are few that blog there that can reasonably be called celebrities and they’re drowned out by the masses of unknowns. I’ve searched through the entire archive, which is rather large considering the site hasn’t been around long. I found only three real bona fide celebrities, Robert Evans, Rob Reiner and John Cusack. There are two minor celebrities, Ellen DeGeneres and Julia Louis-Dreyfus. Finally, a non-celebrity famous person, Bill Maher. The rest of the bloggers at Huffington are writers, politicians or idiots that happen to know Arianna.

Why have Bill Maher blog? He has a cable show that lets him voice his opinion. Ellen also has a show.

I just don’t understand the premise or strategy of Huffington Post. Each day there are more and more posts. It’s not uncommon for there to be more than 40 blog entries a day. At this time, there are 253 articles and the site was officially launched only six days ago. Who is actually going to read all those articles? These people need to get their own blogs. Instead of forming one site, they should’ve formed an alliance. Each getting their own sites and linking to each other.

I actually went over to Huffington Post looking for an article to discuss. I left disappointed. I have no interest in tearing apart poorly assembled thoughts or political statements. There’s no challenge and it’s completely pointless. Anyone that agrees with a Huffington article won’t listen to reason. That leaves the people that disagree and preaching to the choir sounds about as much fun as reading Huffington Post.

Official 2005 BRAC

The BRAC list that started floating around the internet the past few days is apparently a fake. I had a link to a blog that analyzed the list and noticed it was exactly the same as a fake list that was floating around last year. Unfortunately I can’t remember which blog I found that at.

Around 10:00am Eastern Time the Pentagon began distributing the BRAC to lawmakers. I have a PDF of the BRAC from FOX News.

Here are the Wisconsin bases that will be closed.
General Mitchell International Airport Air Reserve Station, Milwaukee
Navy Reserve Center, La Crosse
Navy-Marine Corps Reserve Center, Madison
Olson U.S. Army Reserve Center, Madison
U.S. Army Reserve Center O’Connell

In order to claim control of the XML feed of my blog at Feedster, I need to post a specific link on the blog to prove it is my blog. It’s kind of annoying having to make a post just for this, but I suppose it’s a reasonable security measure to prevent people from claiming other people’s blogs.

I do have an idea how to keep this entry from being a total waste, a helpful hint to newer bloggers. A good way to get your blog indexed on more databases and subsequently get more traffic. Visit Ping-o-Matic! and submit your blog. Some of the services won’t work unless your site is configured properly. Don’t worry, the first time, select all the services and hit submit. It will tell you which services rejected the request and you can visit those sites to find out why.
