Bush made 9/11 happen, says speaker

Filed under: Politics, Wisconsin News — Steven A. Stehling @ 8:54

David Ray GriffinYesterday the University of Madison was host to yet another Bush hating extremist with no real facts and an appetite for attention. Around 450 people listened to David Ray Griffin’s “theory” at Bascom Hall.

Griffin believes that Bush had prior knowledge of the 9/11 attacks and helped carry them out. Not only that, he suggests that members of the United States military played a role in carrying out the attacks.

I wouldn’t go into the details of his “proof”, in part because I’m too offended to be nice right now, but also because each point he makes is transparent. He’s simply stroking the “I Hate Bush” crowd.

Is the UW Madison going to invite a speaker to refute the “theory” suggested by Griffin? I’m sure they would argue Griffin was allowed to speak, regardless of how unpopular or offensive his comments are, because the university supports open discussion. Or does the university endorse Griffin’s comments?
